Jennifer Sanchez, Executive Director, Valley Home Care
Some people are born leaders, and Jennifer Sanchez is one of them. With over 20 years of dedication to caring for others, she brings a unique blend of compassion, professionalism, and hands-on experience to her role as Executive Director of Valley Home Care.
“Home care is more than just a service — it’s a relationship built on trust, empathy, and respect,” Jennifer says. “Every family we serve has a story, and it’s my privilege to ensure our team honors that story with the highest level of care and attention.”
Jennifer began her career as a caregiver and quickly discovered her calling to help others. Over the years, she has held a variety of leadership roles within Valley Home Care, most recently serving as Care Coordinator, where she built strong bonds with seniors and families alike. Her ability to connect deeply with both clients and staff has made her an invaluable part of the Valley team and a natural fit to lead it forward.
As Executive Director, Jennifer focuses on mentoring caregivers, strengthening relationships with families, and ensuring every client experiences the same quality and compassion that have long defined Valley Home Care.
Outside of work, Jennifer finds joy in her family — her husband of 31 years, their two boys, one daughter, and two dogs. They love going to church together, cheering on the San Francisco Giants, watching movies, and attending Fresno hockey games.

Sharon Terrance, Intake Coordinator
If you ask Sharon Terrance what she likes most about being an Intake Coordinator at Valley Home Care, no one who knows her is surprised by her answer.
“I love building relationships,” she says with a genuine smile. “There’s a lot of detail-oriented work that I do, but the best part of my job is earning and keeping the trust of the wonderful seniors and families I am fortunate to work with every day. To me, home care is not just about what I do for the people I serve. It’s more about who I am doing it for that matters most. Putting a smile on someone’s face is what puts a smile on mine.”
Sharon has worked successfully as a caregiver in her family, with children and also with adults, many of whom had exceptional needs. The depth and breadth of her caregiving experience is what gives the families she works with genuine confidence their loved ones can age in place safely and comfortably at home.
Away from work, Sharon is a busy mom with two amazing, young children and they enjoy watching movies together, going on weekend outings and her personal favorite – shopping, shopping, and more shopping!
If you are feeling anxious or stressed about home care for a loved one, give Sharon a call. Chances are good it will be a conversation that will put a smile on both your faces.
Nancy Venegas, Care Coordinator

As a Care Coordinator, one of Nancy’s responsibilities is matching the right caregiver with the right client. “Everyone is unique,” says Nancy. “By having a thorough understanding of our caregiver’s skills and personalities as well as our client’s requirements, I’m able to pair them up accordingly which makes it a win-win situation for everyone involved.
Nancy relocated from South San Francisco to Modesto in 2018 and she enjoys spending her free time at home with her husband and three fur babies. Nancy loves spending time with family and friends, trying new foods and patronizing the make-up counters at local stores.
